software OS4   software OS4 : ZitaFTP Server Gets a Docky - Epiphany Update
posted by Hans on 30-Dec-2019 4:50:03 (1127 reads)
Two anonuncements of news:
- ZitaFTP Server gets a docky, and
- Epiphany special: get ZitaFTP Server for the original release price (15% off standard).

I'm pleased to announce that ZitaFTP Server has the first part of the planned GUI. It was supposed to be released before Christmas, but got delayed. So, it's now done, so this is the Epiphany update

.

What's New?

The biggest change is the new docky, which shows status information, and has a popup menu that makes editing the configuration, restarting the server, and server shutdown easy. No more sending Ctrl+C to the server to shut it down.

Check out the video here: [https://youtu.be/9gX5NyNKHhk

It also means that ZitaFTP finally has its own icon:

Epiphany Update Special

It's too late for Christmas, but January 6 is the post-Christmas feast of the Epiphany, which marks the arrival of the 3 wise men from the East, and their gifts of gold, frankinsense & myrrh for baby Jesus. I do not claim to be wise, but do come bearing a gift: you can get the new improved ZitaFTP Server for it's original release price (15% off the standard price).

This special offer will be available until two weeks after the feast of the Epiphany (Monday, January 20, 2020).

Click here to download ZitaFTP Server, and take advantage of the offer.

I took the plunge and ordered ZitaFTP, but now that I have a license code I can not get it to work any longer. I get an error that the self-signed SSL certificate can not be created and it ends with a fatal error.
