AmigaWorld has interviewed Darius Brewka, the author of the StartMenu utility AmiStart. A new screenshot is also included to demonstrate the advanced features, including background-patterns, transparency and antialiased TrueType fonts support.

Its looking very nice now. Hopefully it will be a little more stable than the last releases I tried

Looks nice. Works well, except that no programs added to it starts when clicking on them. Which would have been a nice feature to have, ehm. Could be because I'm using winUAE with 3.9 though ..

Well, maybe you were just expecting a little too much then.

Seriously though, IMO it would be great to have various good alternative OS components available for AmigaOS4.x. Such flexibility is IMO a great selling point and different people have of course their different preferences, although I believe the new AmiDock will rock.

BTW, typo corrected.
