The new owner(s) haven’t told Amiga Roundtable who he/she is yet, so it’s going to be a surprise to the show as well as you. And they have been good at hiding any clue to their identity.

I wonder if it is DiscreetFX.

1. Who else has been throwing some money around lately.
2. You'd think an owner would announce, on what is now, their own website.
3. He/they are a regular on the show.

Well, it makes sense to me. I wish them luck.

Why would DiscreetFX want to buy Amiga.ORG?

I dunno?
Why do they want to do anything Amiga?

Because they can?

They've been in a bit of controversy lately, and I can only think they haven't come right out and told us yet because they want to explain themselves.
Edit: And promote Amiga Roundtable, which he/they have an involvement with.
Nothing wrong with that. It's probably a good approach.

This is all speculation.

@BigBentheAussie
No, I don't think it is DiscreteFX, but rather someone he knows quite well. I would mention my guess, but that would dampen their big surprise....

I have tried to listen to several episodes of ART, but always found it very tiresome to follow. Too much blather and gibberish without any substance.
"Hey, hi buddie, yeah, right, ehrm, cool, alright, so, erm, (...)"
Nothing with particular relevance to the Amiga, at least nothing that I already didn't know.
