Announcement   Announcement : Nova Design Amiga Software HALF OFF for the Holidays
   posted by Kermit on 27-Nov-2007 15:46:44 (5048 reads)
Right now all new Nova Design, Inc. Amiga products, when bought from Nova's online store, are half off for the Holidays!

This includes ImageFX and Aladdin 4D - our entire line of Amiga special effects and 3D rendering software! ImageFX is the award-winning special effects and image editing package that has been the standard-bearer on the Amiga for over a decade. Aladdin 4D is the easy-to-use and powerful in operation 3D modeling, rendering, and animation package.

Not only that, but we're completely ignoring the rising costs of shipping and keeping our shipping rates exactly the same as they've been for years!

Upgrades are not included. No hot mugs of cider either.

Buy early and often!

I trundled over to check out Aladdin4D and encountered this error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /exoops/modules/xgallery/cache/albums/Aladdin4D/aba.sized.png on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

@Severin

Yeah, I got the same error.

Kind regards,

Francis.

It worked fine for me.

I do note that his post about the Holiday Sale is dated 27 August 2007.

Strange, I just had another look and find that all 5 posts on that page are dated 2007/8/27 which is 27 August 2007.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

@Moxee

Because, I think, this is a reminder of the half-off sale that they had in August.

@Moxee

The site works fine, it's the aladdin screenshot that for some obscure reason I'm not allowed to see...

I think some images got lost on that server.

There were Images of mine (some tutorial pics and some gallery pics) that don't seem to be there anymore.

Of course, my tutorials can be gotten from my CD, but I don't know what happened to the NovaDesign site.

I haven't in a while. I think I tried to install it on my WinUAE.

Right now my WinUAE may have lost some lib because the icon info doesn't show up properly. (how annoying).

I want to make sure the 3.9 system is working correctly before I mess about with a program.

I do think A4D has potential. I got used to lightwave for a bit there and then got out of the habit of using it as I spent all my time with AfterEffects.

i have to get back to the 3D thing again
