Miscellaneous News   Miscellaneous News : Find The Easter Egg competition - and win Cubic IDE!
posted by dietmar on 19-Mar-2006 22:34:28 (2072 reads)
The latest demo of Cubic IDE contains three easter eggs. Be the first to find them and you win a Cubic IDE package (value 85$)! All other correct entries will win small consolation prices. Download the Cubic IDE Easter Egg edition here:
http://www.dietmar-eilert.net/cubic/files.htm

About Cubic IDE

Cubic IDE (screenshot) is a beginner-friendly development environment for AmigaOS and MorphOS. It is designed for use with popular, free Amiga compilers (gcc and vbcc). It will provide you with all the advanced features and customization you will ever need to boost productivity.

Terms and Conditions:

- Easter egg codes must be entered on the contest page
- Competion ends Easter Sunday (17th April 2006)
- Software prices are for downloadable versions
- Prices not exchangable or refundable for cash
- Limit of one price per person applies

Hints: The "Easter eggs" are placed in the user interface, as text or as images, or in functions that start after a click on such elements. They are not hidden behind weird key combinations, etc: you will find them during normal use. Make a "full" or "typical" installation of Cubic IDE (you can not find all eggs in a "minimum" installation).

It sure is a funny way to promote your software.
Very original indeed.

So, really, everyone in the world gets consolation prizes if someone posts the easter egg codes online somewhere.

Great contest!

I have my copy of CubicIDE already so I will stay out of it.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
