Hello!

I made a tiny app to shutdown/reboot computer at specified time. It's written in Hollywood.

.readme

Can you play a while, do tests, and post some suggestions for future?

You can run it from icon or Shell/CLI. You can configure it via icon tooltypes or CLI parameters.
You can make it iconified and/or activated immediately at startup.

I plan an OS4 version or an universal 68k version (MorphOS, AmigaOS4) with special option to configure specific shutdown and reboot commands.

@r-tea

"I'm the screen, the blinding light
I'm the screen, I work at night"

Damn good choice for an app name if you ask me.

@evilFrog
Inspirad by a song of R.E.M.

@samo79
OS4 sure, but an OS3 version seems to be useless (almost) due to lack of ATX power on/off feature... and the size of standalone executable file: ~ 3MB.

@kas1e
You mean the version 0.9.3 written in C. It's no longer continued. I switched to Hollywood.

@r-tea

One of my favourites. I can still remember where I was and what I was doing, first time I heard it.

That was ~19 years ago now. Gods and men, I'm not getting any younger!

There is the first public version 1.0 is available on Aminet.
The latest thing I have added was -h option for CLI help.
Wanted to add -? or -help, but in Hollywood CLI options must begin with an alphabetical character, and -help is reserved for Hollywood.
There are plans for future:
- a kind of configurable progress bar
- top bar menu
- help bubbles
- a blinking icon (while iconified) at the end of countdown
