Pre-installed by Amigakit on the X1000, or on the 4.1 ISO?

are you suggesting a customer has to completely surrender to a company he is buying product from? do you suggest company has a right to single out unsatisfied customers (vox is still supportive though) and punish them?

Surely not. What I am suggesting is that people should not go on drivelling in the forums, harrasing the OS developer team by constantly making demands, raising preposterous claims and generally behaving like a child whose toy has been broken by another boy at the sandpit.

That is a fact - and I don't know why he's been cut off from the updates, that surely isn't right. I was talking about his forum ban.

@Boot_WB

As far as I know, TW is not & never has been the default browser. For that matter, OS4 has no default browser, all are 3rd party.

Suing a company for s/w flaws is a joke, we would have sued every s/w company into the ground by now.

No. Neither, nor. The only browser that is part of the AmigaOS 4.1 3rd party contributions is OWB (Reaction version).

@vox

This may be a dumb question but.... have you tried running AmiUpdate to see what happens?

Unless it kicks back an error, I would think it is running fine.

Maybe all this worrying is for nothing.

Surely, a company end user support according to EU laws.

I wanted to do status update, because someone asked me to.
I wanna do the user angle, but before I do, I just wanna demonstrate
how serious I am on this project.

Its the only computer with balls.

@SACC-dude

Good example, copy-paste works in all OS expect in TW.

Anyway, one side of the story is that developrs took a rest
after exciting AmiWest, and other is breach of end user
rights in banning me of Hyperion main website, which
renders updates needed for games and one more OS 4.1 copy
and OS 4.0 Classic useless.

Its also violation of TOS of support forum where it clearly
states that users can be banned from forum (its not discussion
forum lalala) BUT THAT HE WILL BE ABLE TO GET UPDATES FROM
MAIN WEBSITE AND THAT CANT BE RESTRICTED.

Even its just 30 days, that is 30 days of no legally guaranteed support,
new updates or no new updates, AmigaUpdate or not.

@vox

Instead of spouting off Terms and Conditions, Human Rights and other BS, keep calm, contain yourself, man up and politely pose the question regarding update support through the well publicised official channels.

@djrikki

All public channels have been closed to me.
Politness didn`t help.

Yes, that is human rights violation in terms of human
as consumer in society.

What would you think of such support for any other
product you have at home?

EU laws are strict and merciless.

Its about time they became polite to us.

@Kronos

/me applauds to b) too. A good day for the EU and bad for USA...

BTW do you think Trevor (or anyone else) would then be above law and could sell hardware that is not conform to the laws here? I think not...

AmigaOne X1000, XFX Radeon HD 6870 1GB, 4GB DDR2, Silicon Power SSD V60 120GB, 2TB HDD, Ducky Zero Cherry YU Amiga keyboard, JBL Creatures III, 2xUSB Competition Pro, AmigaOne mouse / AmigaOS 4.1.6 + Mint 11 PPC64 + Fedora 19 PPC64 Compiz

The above was copied and pasted using TW.

Just checked for updates.....none available.

You do remember that your Hyperion account is different than the Hyperion
Forums? Seperate password and all.

Difficult to help someone that is threatening lawsuits.

Before going further I had best talk to my lawyer.
