@Darrin

I said Amiga checkmark and Commodore logo would be cool. Not selling it under Commodore brand.

@itix

and what OS does the AmigaOne brand of computers run?

So my point is that if he marks his cases as "AmigaOne" then it kind of limits them to PPC OS4.x. Better to leave them generic. It would make more sense if aCube wanted to pay The Daddy to use his cases to host their Sam boards (rather than the other way around).

Linux, OS4 and AROS? And I dont think there are any restrictions what CPU can be inside AmigaOne. Like if X500 was sold as Amiga X500 PLUS it could still have x86 inside.

Maybe I'm confused here, but I thought that OS4/AmigaOne were knitted together to for a distinct PPC NG Amiga.

The AInc/Hyperion settlement gives Hyperion an exclusive license to use the AmigaOne trademark for "marketing, distributing and making available [...] any hardware required or desired to operate with AmigaOS4".

@cgutjahr

Thanks for that clarification. So at the moment, as long as OS4.x remains PPC then that's what AmigaOne stands for (OS4+PPC).

@Darrin

However I would pay for some of the nice stickers
But model is not called Amiga so sticker boys, stick off!

HD video is out
with no CUSA related stickers, so enjoy, spread the word because its important.

C=USA sticker love killed the past one that started uplifting with 2000 views in about 2 days, we can get the same attention

Share, embed, recommend, post at forums and news

Amiga.org news updated, rest of the links will be, so lets play just like CUSA never happened hereby incarnated as Leo.

And once we all stop thinking about them, they will anyway die in their own reality and in our minds anyway

@Franko

Loriano should form long term partnership with sticker companies WHERE they handle Leo and trademark issues

You sell X500, users customize stickers from their webshops. No Commodore one needed Keyboard A stickers should be supplied. Include AROS and other presented or best, user customized printing.

This is sticker that describes what user intends to use in the machine and no ready system is supplied.

@TheDaddy

Loriano - Maybe asking Viva Amiga dude to come shoot some of your garage works and do a nice interview? That would be most helpful to your project

Beside you can display Minimig with ARM in cute case, SAM and PC running AROS in X500 case

I like that idea...

It would be nice to see something like that in the video to show the world that there are still people out there contributing in all sorts of ways even in this day and age to help keep the spirit of the Amiga alive...

I'm quite friendly with one of the guys who makes some of the C64 vinyl stickers and have been trying to persuade him to make some Amiga ones but he's not sure if there is a market for them...

I gave him the heads up via email earlier to warn him that he may get a "friendly warning" from a certain person...

I can't print his reply here but let's just say he's not happy and as he's only a couple of hours drive from CUSA's HQ and says he will be visiting them personally if he receives any complaints...

@Franko

If he "visits them personally", make sure he takes one of those spy video cameras that those TV programs use, you know, things like Watchdog and Rogue Traders.
I suspect there are people who'd pay good money to see that video. :)

edit; In case anyone is wondering, yes I am only joking...!

Does anyone think it would be a good idea to move the LEDs to the left instead of centrally?

Can't do right as it fouls the memory on the x86 board and the picoPSU on the SAM460...

If you think about it the X500 is all reversed

compared to the A500

Drives on the left too...

Opinions?

Thanks

Alternative LEDs position (on the left).

Thoughts?

@TheDaddy

In my opinion the led on the left is perfect, a lot better than before (centrally)
