Your case is way cooler then anything the C-USA clowns have come up with. I'm no longer a fan of the wedge computer but that case is making me want to build an AROS box out of it. Just put a X500 sticker on it and be done with these dumb threats.....

You do realise that I'm a contributor, not an employee, right?
In any event, it's probably best to talk to acube about it I would have thought?Last edited by Karlos on 06-May-2012 at 04:06 PM.

I don't think they are big, just bigger than you. And keen to make you aware of the fact, it seems._________________ Doing stupid things for fun... |

No, but you could help him to get AmigaOne name. If CUSA are buttholes to now allow using Amiga name I am sure Hyperion would not be butthole and let him use AmigaOne name instead. _________________ Amiga Developer Amiga 500, Efika, Mac Mini and PowerBook |

lets not be too sarcastic here. leave the guy alone, this case project is best advised to stay away from any amiga relevance. other audience might even embrace it even more so it was the case. |

As far as I'm aware, Hyperion haven't made any posts for him to remove the "AmigaOS" stickers from his pictures and videos so what are you trying to say? _________________ AmigaOne X1000, A4000(T), A3000, A2000, A1200(T), A1200, A500, CD32, Minimig+ARM, FPGA Arcade, Chameleon64, C-One, C128, C128D, C64C, C64, VIC-20, CBM 8032, CBM4032, Efika, Ultimate64 |

Yep, let's leave the case as blank and "generic". Personally I want to put a FPGA Arcade in one so I really don't want any markings on the case other than what I decide to add. _________________ AmigaOne X1000, A4000(T), A3000, A2000, A1200(T), A1200, A500, CD32, Minimig+ARM, FPGA Arcade, Chameleon64, C-One, C128, C128D, C64C, C64, VIC-20, CBM 8032, CBM4032, Efika, Ultimate64 |

I agree...it was never my intention to give out stickers, those are just bits of crappy 80g paper and badly printed too
It's just to give people ideas on how to customise their case...
Talking of which...I am itching to make a black prototype...but have finished all the money...
What do you think of this:

Just for the final stretch...what could the Reward be for the funders? _________________ www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk |

Crowdfunder might overcomplicate things.
IMHO you need to stop the "feature-creep" right now and just market a single case. If someone wants a black one then they can spray paint it themselves (or red, or blue or white/red checkers, etc). A white keyboard should go with everything. I know white socks match everything. Leave the LEDs where they are.
Also, I'll say this again, consider leaving the expansion bays empty. People can fit their own slim-line optical drives if they need them.
Just give them the basics and keep your costs down. Last edited by Darrin on 06-May-2012 at 05:54 PM.

All he needs to do is call up Ben and ask for terms of a license contract.

Good idea. Amiga 500 retro case with the original Amiga checkmark and Commodore logo would be cool. _________________ Amiga Developer Amiga 500, Efika, Mac Mini and PowerBook |

It is obviously better than yours.
You mentioned Hyperion's AmigaOne and as I mentioned (which you couldn't comprehend) Hyperion had no issues (to date) with the AmigaOS stickers.
So, what was your agenda? Last edited by Darrin on 06-May-2012 at 06:52 PM. Last edited by Darrin on 06-May-2012 at 06:51 PM.

and I have such stickers at home thanks to eBay. No need for anybody to license anything. Why limit the audence for the case? What is with your AmigaOS obsession? I never talked anything about AmigaOS. I suggested using AmigaOne brand to sell his case. _________________ Amiga Developer Amiga 500, Efika, Mac Mini and PowerBook |
