@BigBentheAussie

I think you'll find it says "AMICA" which is italian for girlfriend (I believe).

I should point out that you have no rights to the font used, or the word "Amica". I will also draw your attention again to the rules regarding "fair use" under US law. I will also point out that The Daddy is also protected by EU fair use laws too, although as he has complied with your "polite request", he has no need for any protection.

@kyle

Thank you Kyle for confirming that.

Or should I say "grazie"?

@Darrin

Grazie is ok, and the real mean of "amica" in italian is a friend of female sex; the translation of girfriend in italian is "fidanzata" or "ragazza" (this is my girlfriend -> "questa è la mia ragazza" or "questa è la mia fidanzata"

In another thread you said you would remove the AMIGA trademark from your materials as you cannot use it legally.
You seem to have created another image with the AMIGA trademark present.

Is this a question, or a statement? As you do not represent the trademark owner, I must question your intentions with this post, because if it is meant to intimidate or harass one of the members on our forums, as a moderator, I might need to act on such actions against our members.

@BigBentheAussie

It spells AMICA, he also seems to have mess-up the spacing between the characters to create an even less professional look so people won't be making mistakes.

Seriously, could you for once provide us images of all the Amiga related trademarks you're legally entitled to protect? This list of images could then be used by all of us to make sure we would not upset you and your company. To make the list easy to find back, it would be wise to probably start a new thread.

@ TheDaddy
Now back to the really interesting subject of this thread. The case is brilliant, LEDs to the left are looking more natural then in the middle. I do agree with some of the others that they should not be too bright. You created a PCB for those yourself?

Cheers Kyle, that might come in handy if I ever get to go back to Italy. I think I was 16 the last time I went. Loved Venice. I'd like to take my wife there.

It seems you have not. It just looks that way at a casual glance.

Oh my ! Are you getting blind by all this C=USA hate ? Can't you see what is wrong
with placing a AMICA logo (with the same typeface) on it instead of AMIGA ?

I mean if you like to get sued, do it, advertise and sell it like that.
I'd recommend to sell it no-named and let people put their own stickers.
Just a tip.

You obviously haven't read the entire thread as you would have already known that it is being sold completely blank with no branding whatsoever.

You're absolutely right. I couldn't be bothered to read the whole thread thoroughly. It was easier to just state my opinion on the whole thing.

@The Daddy

Good work! The new X500 Plus case looks very good indeed!

Regarding the positioning of the LED lamps: I would prefer them to be placed on the right side like the A500/A1200. Everything else just feels wrong IMHO... ;) Maybe we should set up a poll and allow the majority to decide if you plan to make only one version?

Another feature I would like to see is a reset button. Such a button can be very useful for some PC motherboards for example. It's annoying having to turn off the computer completely if it hangs.

Don't worry, in post #128 he confirms he only took a casual glance before sending you the threat.

@Jeano

LEDs can't be moved to the right, they touch the boards. They will be moved to the left ...any other requests please let me know. I can only afford one more prototype.

Regarding the reset...You can press the power button down for a few seconds and it behaves like a reset on SAMs (please correct if I am wrong).

On other OS machines it's rarely used. You can always add one yourself, they are easy to find, you can place it on the back, I don't really want to mark the top with holes. I hope you get what I mean...

@TheDaddy

OK, I see. :) Well, then I prefer LEDs to be centered like the prototype shown in the X500 Plus Presentation Video, I think.

OK, hopefully no problem to reset the computer even without a switch then. :) Thanks.

I would like to put a NatAmi, FPGA Replay or a SAM board into the X500 Plus case if I get my hands on one. :) Keep up the good work!

It's kinda strange how you keep popping into these threads in your "official capacity" on behalf of CUSA and yet you try to claim in your signature that you are not doing so and are merely expressing your "own opinions"...

Now that in my book is rather confusing and I reckon it may also be a bit confusing to other members here, so as you are intent on derailing other peoples threads here and spoiling these threads for members who are interested in them, then as you have decided to do all this nonsense publicly then perhaps you would care to clarify a few things here publicly too...

Are you issuing these demands/ warnings/ threats (whatever you want to call them) in your official capacity as a CUSA employee, in which case you are doing so illegally and could face harassment charges for them...

Or

Are these demands/ warnings/ threats merely your own opinions/ views, in which case this again comes down to harassment of a member here and should be dealt with by the moderation staff...

Either way, whichever the answer is whether you are doing so in your official capacity or simply as a member of this site don't you think it would be wise and sensible to actually read through all the posts and gatheri the facts first before jumping in and opening your big mouth and posting dumb comments like you have done...

From your actions here it is clear you don't have a clue about what you are doing or saying and are simply intent on harassing a member of this site for nothing more than your own enjoyment...

So which is it, are you issuing these demands/ warnings/ threats in an official capacity on behalf of CUSA or are you issuing them simply as a member of this site...

I am asking this publicly as you have chosen to make this whole thing public and I am fed up with you ruining other peoples threads with your pathetic demands/ warnings/ threats (which should be done privately)...

PS: Before you say this has nothing to with me then I should say yes it does, as your inability to either read the posts or check the facts about your issues before blurting out silly comments which have already been solved/answered just proves you are only doing this to harass `TheDaddy and spoil these thread for those of us genuinely interested in them...
