>>Yes. You have to put the URL to the actual image inside the image tag, not the URL to the page on which the image is displayed.

I am having a black out moment...what do you mean?

Go to your page here: http://www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ledsalternative.htm

If you inspect the image in your browser, you will see the actual URL you need for the forum's IMG tag to work, which is:

http://www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/LED%20Alternative.png

Can you do a mockup please, I am trying to figure out the IMG thingy....are you using Photoshop?

Something like this?

Just using an ancient copy of fireworks for the mockups (before adobe bought out macromedia, that's how old we're talking). I find it an order of magnitude easier to use than photoshop.

Yeah...the thing is a few people don't like the name X500 PLUS...maybe just moving the LED to the left, going orange and green and leave it blank?

@TheDaddy

Nothing succeeds like simplicity, they say. Personally I don't mind the "X500" but, that's just my opinion. Feedback is always good thing but at the end of the day it's your design.

I'd definitely go with the traditional Amiga style green/orange double bar LEDs though.

AWESOME! Thank you very much, it's only taken me 7 years to figure it out...I need some fresh air...

Now the threads page is screwed up though...

OK then I'll change the LED position to the left...and find green and orange colour ones.

@TheDaddy

You can also put a newline after the image tag, otherwise the browser will render the image inline with the text, as you can see in your post ;)

@TheDaddy

Yeah, a blank line (press enter), just after the image. Also, if you are using the IMG button to add images, be sure to leave the second requester (that asks if you want it left or right) blank.

That makes sure your inserted image appears above any text you enter after it, rather than to the left of it.

@TheDaddy

If you make image centered then that does not happen.

@TheDaddy

What's with the orange led? It's red for power and green for the drive on the 500.

Anyway, fantastic work, coolest Amiga related thing I've seen for the past decade.

@ruben

And have you noticed every thing is on the left side, and not right side.

Floppy drive was originally on the right side, and so was the hd led, power led, normally things are deigned for right hand people, this looks like is deigned for left hand people, anyway having the cdrom on left side has its advantages when the cdrom try is open, its not in the way for the mouse on right side.

Correct. The mouse is in the way and so it's its wire. Removing card (media cards) from the card reader was a pain. But mainly this way all four motherboards fit and we get extra space for a PCI/PCI-Express card.

@TheDaddy

In my opinion leds on the left are much better than in the center of the case

And as I have already written in another site the combo color power for me is blue for the power activity and red for the HD activity

Only thing missing for me is there's nowhere to put a 5.25" disk drive! I could probably survive with that though, just have to test with my other cw.
(Seriously! I use them to develop my Catweasel drivers)

More I see this, more I want one. I think my Sam my benefit....

@TheDaddy
In another thread you said you would remove the AMIGA trademark from your materials as you cannot use it legally.
You seem to have created another image with the AMIGA trademark present.
