I just noticed now that there are new titles there, including it came from the desert, genetic species and more..
At least a small step forward from AA.

@Tomas

They are two very good titles. If they actually ran on `phones et cetera as per the original waffle then I`d buy them both.

And so where is our AmigaOS4 software port? Since Amiga are now interested in the OS agaim, will it see any games?

@Tomas

A bit odd that they dont even mention Cinemaware on the games product page, wonder if they know about Amiga selling their games.

Of course not! This is Amiga in.c we are talking about! Are you completely out of your mind?

Aren't those games freeware now? Can they legally sell it or pretend to claim to own them in this manor?

Not sure about ICFTD but Genetic Species was uploaded to Aminet as the complete version about 6 years ago.

This is Amiga Inc. we're talking about remember. Trying to sell free products...

Just checked the Cinemaware site - and although it is down a Google cache search shows that - yes - that was free to download also.

It's a new way to make business and easy money. Sell free products. They must be desperate because they can't think anything else how to make money.

I find it a bit funny that games that old are being sold, but hey when are they going to sell AmigaOS4 games never

Hopefully they run at funding soon for there legal actions and go bankrupt, they should have sold Amiga software years a go, now they are just to late!

Where can get my hands on AmigaOS3.9 and booing ball updates for my Classic Amiga Computer / E-UAE?

I wonder the same as well... I sure hope they get their share from the sales, but nothing would surprise me with amiga inc these days..

Only possible if they have gotten permission/license from the company that produced these games.
It is just as illegal to sell freeware products as selling pirate copies, unless they like i said got permission or that it is specified in the license of the game, the latter i really doubt is the case..

I wonder why it say by Amiga Inc. after all the Cinemaware titles such as:
It came from the Desert
Lords of the rinsing sun
Sinbad
TV Sports Boxing
Wings

On all the other titles it says by Vulcan.

I wonder if Cinemaware knows that Amiga Inc. are selling their games as their own.

The Cinemaware site's "Terms" page states the following:

Quote:

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Cinemaware website contains intellectual property owned by Cinemaware and other parties. You will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the website. Your use of Cinemaware software is governed by separate license agreements that you must agree to in order to access the software.

So if AInc haven't explicitly got permission, they're being naughty.

@Gleng

Someone hurry and tell Cinemaware!

Honestly, selling free stuff like this is reaching an all time low for A.Inc.

Nah it was just for fun, I really wouldn't bother contacting them. Got better things to do.

I personally think they have permission, considering that all new titles seem to be cinemaware produced.
