Hehehe . You're right! We should all finish OS3.9 first before asking for OS4.

I like the fact that this board is so active. I can post a (usually stupid and obvious) question, and there is always a reply very soon after.

Kudos to all!

I think the theme actually went, "Chu.. chu.. chuckle vision... chu.. chu.. chuckle vision..."
Should I actually know that?

Does anyone have any codes for the later levels? I haven't beaten the end-of-level baddie on stage one yet.

No actually I think it was... "Chu.. chu.. chuckle vision... chu.. chuckle vision..." ...

Subtle difference I know, but its important otherwise it destroys the timing of this TV masterpiece!

ITEM: It's a free 'net (especially this part of it) and we're free to talk about what we're passionate about.

ITEM: We're not chaining you to this website and forcing you to read it at gunpoint. If this place bores you, leave for a while and then come back. Repeat as necessary until you find something of interest or until the boredom goes away. We're not going to stop you, promise.

A lot of the people here don't have OS3.9 - The highest that I got to was OS3.5 with both BoingBags bolted on. As for not being satisfied with what we already have, that's part of human nature kiddo, accept it.

I own an Amiga One G4, but I actually like my Amiga 2500 with Kickstart / Workbench 1.3 better, because ALL of my over 1000 vintage Amiga disks work on it and they work very well.

I was happy with my A1200 but I also wanted to upgrade my Amiga experience. I like the idea of using inexpensive PC peripherals when the desire to upgrade my Amiga hits me. The classic Amiga hardware locked me into using a series of proprietary hardware standards that, due to the small volume of the market, ended up being at least 3 or 4 times more expensive than the equivalent piece of PC kit, and that was without the cost of shipping to .au in order to get it to me.
Now I have untold thousands of PC users out there that are effectively subsidising my Amiga's upgrades (And a big Thank You goes out to all those drones, no matter where they are... ).
If you're happy with you classic set-up then the more power to you. Please allow us the same privilege.

Doug

You need another one to play when the computer is actually ready to use.
Maybe add more for malfunctions and then we'll have music all day.

There was a code involving holding down several keys while the mouse pointer positioned over a certain pixel, but I can't remember it anymore. Any way, RamDisk, the stage one boss is fairly easy to beat if you know what you're doing. Your Shells can't harm him, but the trick is to keep feeding him. He will grow larger and larger, until he eventually can't take anymore. Hey presto, you're on to level 2.

Or you can just feed him two things at the same address, and he'll choke. Works every time, though I hear they've worked their way around this in the new version. Also, since he's a lot bigger now, and takes more feeding to overcome, they've moved him to level 3.

Yup, OS4 is without going to be a LOT harder than 3.9 ever was. There is a rumour that there is a new final boss, called the Grim Reaper, which is nigh-on impossible to beat. I might have to write some cheat code to get around that one...
